Kouga Mayor Horatio Hendricks said the municipality would be holding IDP community consultation meetings across the region over the next six weeks.

All sessions start at 6pm, with the exception of the Marina Martinique meeting that will start at 10am and the meetings at the NG Church hall in Paradise Beach and Ons Tuiste in Humansdorp starting at 3pm.

The meeting for Ward 1 took place at Sea Vista on Tuesday, with a new date to be communicated for the meeting at Oyster Bay, which was postponed.

The meeting for Ward 2 will take place at the Pellsrus Community Hall, Jeffreys Bay, tonight (3 October).

This will be followed by the Ward 3 meeting on Thursday, 4 October, at the Newton Hall.
