Jeffreys Bay water alert

11 October 2020

The water supply to a section of Jeffreys Bay will be shut down on Wednesday, 14 October, to allow for the repair of a steel flange at the valve chamber in Verbena Crescent.

The water will be closed at 06:00 and opened at 13:00.

The areas affected are those north of St Francis Street but below AD Keet, including Wavecrest, Kabeljous and the mid-town.

Residents are asked to take note that the taps will not run dry immediately as there will still be water in the pipes when the supply is turned off. While the supply will be opened again at 13:00, it may take some time for the pipes to fill up and the supply to stabilise.

Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
