Mandela Day in J-Bay

Kouga Executive Mayor Daphne Kettledas proved to be a woman of many talents during the municipality’s Nelson Mandela Day programmes at Loerie, Humansdorp and Jeffreys Bay last week.

The Mayor started her tribute to Madiba on Thursday, 16 July, when she helped ward councillor Timothy Meleni (right) paint the home of Alec Hammond at Tokyo Sexwale.

Hammond lost his eyesight two years ago and has since had to depend on his family for everyday support
