Mayor's Cup soccer and netball action this weekend

MAYOR'S CUP SOCCER TOMORROW: 

The semi-finals and finals of the 2017 Mayor's Cup soccer tourney takes place at the Kruisfontein Sports Complex at Humansdorp tomorrow (26 August). 

City All Stars and Royal Stars - both from Humansdorp - will battle it out in the first semi at 10am. 

Hooke Wits and Juventus - both from Jeffreys Bay - will play in the second semi at 11.10am. 

The 3rd place play-off will follow at 1pm and the final at 3pm. 

Mayor Elza van Lingen wishes the teams all the best. May it be a great footballing day. 

 

MAYOR'S CUP NETBALL TOMORROW:

The Mayor's Cup Netball tourney will take place tomorrow (26 Aug) from 9.30am at Graslaagte Primary in Humansdorp.

The Mayor wishes all 10 the netball teams competing for top honours a successful tourney. 

 

MAYOR'S CUP RUGBY POSTPONED:

The Mayor's Cup Rugby has had to be postponed as some of our local teams are playing important league qualifying matches tomorrow. 

The Mayor would like to thank the teams for keeping Kouga's flag flying high in the EP rugby leagues and wishes them all the best. 

A new date for the Mayor's Cup Rugby is being finalised.
