More than 2 000 service requests logged in first month

01 December 2017

More than 2000 service requests were logged through Kouga Municipality’s new call centre and Link app during the first month of operations.

Kouga Mayor Elza van Lingen said a total of 2 313 service requests had been reported by communities from 23 October to 23 November, of which 1950 had been resolved in that same period.

“We promised residents that we would change Kouga into a caring institution that is responsive to communities’ needs. With the new call centre and app, we are well on our way to delivering on that promise,” she said.
