What to expect at the JBM 2019

29 August 2019
The JBay Makiti is all about celebrating friendship and family.
It's three days of festivities, aimed at creating just the right vibe for a good old traditional "kuier" (visit).
There will be kuier-style seating areas, two beer gardens and extra marquees for shade.
Award-winning South African acts will be appearing on stage and, as an extra treat, Saturday's Springbok game against the All Blacks will be screened live on big screens.
Free wifi, amusement rides, fun activities and the award-winning children's act Buster & Bella will make for plenty to keep teens and the younger set entertained.
There will be a wide choice of food, snacks and beverages, as well as a bevy of indoor and outdoor stalls, selling all manner of goods - from arts, crafts and clothing to jewellery, homeware and more.
Other JBM highlights will include a showcase of top upcoming artists on Friday and a colour run on Saturday.
A special worship service will open the programme on the last day, with free entry to the terrain for the first 1 000 people to check in at the ticket office between 7:30 and 8:30am on the day.
Add to this the backdrop of Jeffreys Bay's renowned beaches and it's easy to see why there is no other place to be than the JBM, happening from 20 to 22 September at the J'Bay Caravan Park.
The J'Bay Makiti is presented by Jeffreysbaai Feeste in conjunction with Kouga Municipality, Jeffreys Bay Tourism and media sponsors Luister FM and Business Guide.
