Young boxers to provincial tourney

Nine young boxers from Kouga have been chosen to represent the Sarah Baartman District at a provincial boxing tournament this week. Kouga Mayor Elza van Lingen (front second right) and Ward Councillor Sindiswa Mandeka (front second left) joined Kouga Boxing Association president Andile Mlenza (back right) and treasurer Siziwe Miwa (back left) in wishing the young stars all the best. They are (front) Yomelela Mqikela, Zanele Mandyoli, (back) Asanele Singanthsa, Ntombikayise Mzathi, Sipho Mapho, Elreco Samson, Sibahle Blou and Sethu Mzathi. All the learners are members of the Kouga Boxing Association. The ninth learner from Kouga who has been included in the team is Bongani Kowe.
