The purpose of the proposed new Property Rates Policy is primarily to facilitate and to provide mechanisms for the introduction of Special Rating Areas and the proposed By-Law to give effect thereto. NEW INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN

The new Integrated Development Plan for the Kouga municipal area is set to be tabled to the Council for approval on 31 May 2017. The IDP is a five-year plan that sets out the development needs of a municipality's wards. The new IDP for 2017/2022 was compiled in consultation with communities and will be reviewed annually.

MUNICIPAL BUDGET & TARIFFS

The municipality's annual budget and new tariffs for 2017/18 to 2019/2020 is set to be tabled to the Kouga Council for approval on 31 May 2017. The budget is to be implemented from 1 July 2017.
