Praise for municipal water team

Praise has been pouring in for Kouga Municipality’s water team who braved the rain and wind on Saturday to repair a major pipe break that had left a section of Wavecrest, Jeffreys Bay, without water. Ward councillor Ludwig Vorster said the break had occurred in a section of the kloof at Verbena Street, which also made accessing the area difficult. The water team worked non-stop until 22:30 to complete the repairs and restore the supply.
