CARING FOR THE ELDERLY

Ward 8 Councillor, Ludwig Vorster (second from left), is helping to look after the frail and elderly in his ward. He delivered three new wheelchairs to the Amala Nursing Home in Jeffreys Bay. The wheelchairs were bought through the municipality’s Ward Development Fund. Joining Vorster at the hand-over are (from left) Jakkie Pieterse, ward 8 committee member and Executive Secretary of and for Persons with Disabilities, Elsabé Smith (Matron), André Bekker and Dot van Greunen.
