KOUGA RUNNERS RAISE THOUSANDS FOR AUTISM
Strong legs – and hearts to match . . . Members of the Jeffreys Bay Running Club raised a whopping R18 857 for the Centre of Grace Foundation when they took to the road earlier this year for the local leg of the virtual Comrades marathon. The Centre of Grace Foundation is a non-profit organisation whose vision is to ensure that children impacted by autism and their families have access to autism services in the region. Co-founder Toyer Jappie (right) receives the much-needed donation from (left) Kouga Executive Mayor, Horatio Hendricks, who joined hands with the foundation, Johan Vosloo (JBay Running Club Treasurer), and Eric Ruiters (Kouga Municipality employee and JBay Running Club member).
