Kouga takes human settlement services to communities
KOUGA – The Human Settlements Department at Kouga Municipality is set to hold a four-week long Human Settlements Outreach Programme across the region – taking services to communities.
The programme will kick-off in Humansdorp on 04 September 2023 and come to an end in the Gamtoos Valley on 27 September 2023.
The following services will be provided:
- General human settlement queries
- Housing waiting list (NHNR)
- Housing application
- Plot application
- Deed of Sale
- Title deed queries
- Confirmation of ownership
- Consumer education on housing matters.
The meetings will start in wards 4,5 and 15 at the Kruisfontein Community Hall from 09:00 to 14:00 from 4 September 2023 to 6 September 2023.
From 11 September 2023 to 13 September 2023, it will be the turn of residents from wards 1, 6, and 15, whose meetings will be held at the KwaNomzamo Community Hall, also from 09:00 to 14:00.
Three meetings will be held in ward 9 and ward 13. The meetings will take place from 18 September 2023 to 20 September 2023 from 09:00 to 14:00 at the Vusumzi Landu Community Hall.
The last week will see the meetings move to ward 10. Three meetings are scheduled for the ward from 25 September 2023 to 27 September 2023 at the Dan Sandi Community Hall. The meetings will take place from 09:00 to 14:00.
