International Coastal Cleanup Day

Jeffreys Bay’s beaches are spotless thanks to the efforts of nature-loving volunteers on International Coastal Cleanup Day. Almost 100 bags of rubbish was collected along the beaches from Magnatubes to the Marina at Jeffreys Bay on Saturday, September 17. (Front) Lynn Venter, Khalipha Nelani, Nono Gunguluza, Virginia Camealio-Benjamin, Thandeka Maseti (back) Noxolo Mthimkulu, Michael van den Bergh, Gcobisa Dadamasi and Ziphilele Antoni were part of the team that took part in the clean-up. The programme was a joint effort by Kouga Municipality, Makukhanye Primary, Enviroman Recycling, Ripcurl and Plastics SA.
