Kouga Executive Mayor Daphne Kettledas hands over the Kouga Rugby Mayor’s Cup trophy to winning captain Johnnie Ruiters of Kruisfontein United. With them is Chairperson of Kouga Rugby Sub Union Elroy Augustus. Kruisfontein beat Jeffreys Bay United 21-10 in the final on Saturday, played at the Kruisfontein Sports Complex.

Kruisfontein United were crowned the new champions of the Kouga Rugby Mayor’s Cup on Saturday. The Humansdorp side beat Jeffreys Bay United 21-10 at the Kruisfontein Sports Complex. J’bay United defeated past champions Orlando Eagles in the semi-finals, while Kruisfontein had to endure a bruising contest against Patensie Barbarians to book their place in the final
