New phone numbers for municipal offices

NEW telephone systems have been installed at the Jeffreys Bay, Humansdorp and St Francis Bay offices of the Kouga Municipality.

Any of these offices can now be accessed by phoning the central switchboard number 042 200 2200. The Traffic Department can also be contacted at this number, alternatively, they can be contacted directly at 042 200 8350. St Francis Bay’s office can be contacted directly on 042 200 2250.

The all-hours emergency number remains 042 291 0250.

A few teething problems are still being sorted out, consequently, residents might struggle at times to get through. The municipality apologises for any inconvenience this might cause.

The municipal offices at Hankey and Patensie will also be connected to the new system during July.

A list of direct numbers for service queries and complaints will be released once the system has been fully installed to improve communication between residents and the municipality.
