Women's market postponed to Saturday

Women’s market and surfing fun at J-Bay this Saturday

THE Women’s Day Market, that would have taken place at the Jeffreys Bay main beach tomorrow (9 August), has been moved to Saturday, August 10, because of the rainy weather.

The market will now take place from 9am to 4pm on Saturday. The first of its kind to be hosted in Kouga, the market is an opportunity for local businesswomen and women entrepreneurs to display and sell their wares.

An added attraction on Saturday will be the “Go Big” surfing event at 1pm at the main beach. The aim of the event is to see how many surfers can ride a single wave.

It is being organised by the Kouga Association for Persons with Physical Disabilities (APD) to promote Casual Day, scheduled for September 6 this year.
