REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS: SUPPLY OF FIRE PROTECTION CLOTHING
Service providers are hereby invited to submit quotations for the supply of Fire Protection clothing:
1. 10 x Harvik firefighting boots NFPA approved
2. 10 x Firefighting gloves AFW 7500 thermo hide NFPA approved
3. 10 x Structural firefighting helmet NFPA approved.
4. 10 x Flash hood double layer AFW supreme
5. 10 x Bunker suit complete advance Q8, X 1715
Service Providers must submit an original valid tax clearance certificate.
Sealed quotations marked “Notice No 36/2010: “Fire Protection Clothing†must be placed in the quotation box inside the Supply Chain Office at the Kouga Municipal Stores at St. Croix Street, Jeffrey’s Bay.
The closing date for submissions: Thursday, 29April 2010
Prospective Service Providers must register on the Kouga Supplier database.
Tenderers must submit an original SARS Tax Clearance Certificate with their tender proposal in order to be considered.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, email or late quotations will not be accepted. Service Providers already registered on the Municipal Supplier Database need not submit a Tax Clearance Certificate with their quotation, on condition that their registration on the database is current, valid and up to date.
The Council reserves the right to accept any quotation, or part thereof, appoint more than one contractor and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any quotation. Council reserves the right not to appoint any contractor.
The validity period for the submission of tenders must be 90 days from the closing date.
