INSTALLATION of SEWER RETICULATION IN PATENSIE (RAMAPHOSA VILLAGE)
Suitably qualified, capable and experienced tenderers are hereby invited to tender for the
INSTALLAtion of SEWER RETICULATION IN PATENSIE (RAMAPHOSA VILLAGE)
Tender document will be available as from Monday, 7 June 2010 during office hours from the Kouga Municipality at 33 Da Gama Road in Jeffreys Bay. A non-refundable tender deposit of R100.00 per document is required and must be payable at the cashiers, before collection of the document at the Archives Section.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the Engineer and the Employer will take place at their offices in Humansdorp 42 Heugh Street (Traffic Department), on Tuesday, 8 June 2010 starting at 10:00.
Completed tender documents, in sealed envelopes, must be deposited in the Tender Box of the Kouga Municipality at 33 Da Gama Road in Jeffreys Bay, clearly marked “Notice No 30/2010: INSTALLATION OF SEWER RETICULATION IN PATENSIE (RAMAPHOSA VILLAGE), not later than 12:00 on Friday, 2 July 2010, after which tenders will be opened in public.
Tenderers should take note of the following tender conditions:
1. Failure to complete all supplementary/requested information will result in the tender being deemed null and void.
2. A CIDB Contractor Grading Designation of 4CE/3CE PE or higher is required.
3. The Procurement Policy and Supply Chain Management Policy of the Kouga Municipality will apply. This tender/bid will be evaluated in terms of the 90/10 preference point scoring system namely:
· HDI 6 points
· Women 2 points
· Disabled 2 points
· Price 90 points
4. Tenderers must submit an original valid SARS Tax Clearance Certificate with their tender, in order to be considered.
5. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail and late tenders will not be accepted.
6. Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
7. The Municipality reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any tender and no reason for the acceptance or rejection of any will be furnished.
8. The validity period of the tenders must be 8 weeks from the closing date.
