ANTI-VIRUS SOLUTION & SOFTWARE- IT
Prospective Service Providers are hereby invited to submit tenders for the supply and installation of a total Anti-Virus Solution.
Scope of Work
A total Anti- Virus Solution that will cover the following:
- 250-300 x Desktops/ Laptops
- 1x Windows Server 2003
- 3 x Windows Server 2008
Please specify the following on your quotation:
- Software Cost
- Installation Cost
- Timeframe for Installation and Implementation
- Annual Maintenance and License Fee

Please note:
o A service level agreement will be signed.
o Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, email or late quotations will not be accepted.
o Prospective Service Providers must submit a valid original SARS Tax Clearance Certificate with their quotation in order to be considered.
o Service Providers already registered need not submit a tax clearance certificate on condition that their database registration is valid and up to date.
o Prospective Service Providers must register on Kouga Municipality’s Supplier Database as per requirements of registration.
o The Council reserves the right to accept any bids and, or part thereof, appoint more than one contractor, and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender. The Council reserves the right to appoint any contractor.
o The validity period for submission must be 60 days from the closing date.
It is the Service Provider’s responsibility to ensure that their tenders are deposited in the correct tender box. No tenders delivered at any other venue or tender box than the one mentioned, will be considered.
Quotations in a sealed envelope endorsed “Notice No:191/2010: “Anti- Virus Solution†, must be placed in the Tender Box inside the Office of Supply Chain Management, St Croix Street, Jeffreys Bay on or before Thursday, 11 November 2010 at 12:00.
