PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO MUNICIPAL PROPERTY RATES POLICY
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 3(2) of the Municipal Property Rates Act No 6 of 2004, read with Sections 5 (1) & (2) of the Act, notice is hereby given that the Council will, in the light of any comments, observations and/ or suggestions submitted give consideration to possible amendments to the Policy as required by law in conjunction with the Approval of the 2010/11 Budget.
Comments, inputs, amendments, additions and/or deletionsas the case may be are hereby solicited from interested persons or parties, in writing, to reach the undersigned not later than 21 May 2010.
Copies of the Policy are available for inspection at all Municipal Offices and Libraries (during office hours) as well as on the Website http://www.kougamunicipality.gov.za/.
