RECTIFICATION OF 157 STATE FUNDED LOW COST HOUSING UNITS: SEA VISTA
The Kouga Municipality invites tender proposals from Established and Recognized Construction Service Providers for the rectification of 157 State Funded Low Cost Housing Units, from 15m² to a total floor coverage of 40m² Sea Vista.
Only tenderers who are enrolled with the NHBRC are eligible to submit a detailed Tender Proposal.
Preference will be given to prospective tenderers are compliant in terms of the following requirements:
All tender proposals will be evaluated in terms of the Municipal Supply Chain Management Policy and the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act.
A Compulsory Clarification Meeting will be conducted at the Sea Vista Community Hall on Wednesday, 9 JUNE 2010 at 10h00.
A set of tender documents may be obtained from the Kouga Municipality, Archive Section, 33 Da Gama Road, Jeffreys Bay, during office hours, Monday-Friday, 7:30-13:00 and 13:30 – 16:15 at a fee of R200.00 paid to the cashier before collecting the document.

Tenderers should take note of the following requirements:
· Tenderers to familiarise themselves fully with the Scope of Works
· The 90/10 Point System will be applied
· Tenderers must submit an original SARS Tax Clearance, VAT Registration, CK Registration and NHBRC enrolment.
· Telephonic, telegraphic, telex, Facsimile or e-mail tenders will not be accepted
· Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documents issued
