REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS: LEASE OF OFFICE SPACE

Service Providers are hereby invited to submit quotations for the lease of office space for Asset & Fleet and Budget & Treasury Departments, in close proximity (between100- 200 meters) from Kouga Municipality, Jeffreys Bay Administration Building. (33 Da Gama Road, Jeffreys Bay),

SCOPE OF LEASE FOR OFFICE SPACE – ONE YEAR RENEWABLE CONTRACT

· To provide office space to the Budget and Treasury Department (10 Offices) and Fleet and Asset Management Department (6 Offices).

· Total floor space required is approximately 365m², including 1kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 Board room and 1 store room.

Sealed quotations, endorsed with “Notice No.193/2010: Leasing of Office Space” must be placed in the quotations box inside the Supply Chain Office at the Kouga Municipal Stores at St. Croix Street, Jeffreys Bay. The closing date for submissions is Thursday, 14 October 2010 at 12:00.

Tenders submitted will be deemed to be valid for a period of 3 months from the date of opening of tenders. Tenders should be accompanied with a valid VAT Clearance Certificate and the latest company registration documents.

The prospective Service Providers must register on the Kouga Supplier Database. Only registered Service Providers will be considered. No late, incomplete, facsimile or email quotes will be accepted.

The tender point scoring system will be based on the 80/20 point system, where the 20 point will be for preferential procurement and the 80 points will be applicable to the price.

As no tender documents are available, proposals will have to be submitted.

The Council reserves the right to accept any quotation, or part thereof, and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any quotation.
