Tender documents are obtainable from Monday 3rd of May 2010 at the applicable non-refundable fee of R100.00 per set, payable, at the cashiers, Da Gama Road 33, JEFFREYS BAY, prior to collection of the documents from the Archives Department. Tel No. 042-2002200.
SUBMISSION OF TENDERS
Please submit tenders before 12h00 on 28 May 2010.
Telex or faxed tenders will not be accepted and may only be submitted on the required tender document.
1. By hand: Put tender in an envelope endorsed with the contract number and description.
2. Place sealed envelope in the tender box, Municipal Offices, Da Gama Road 33, JEFFREYS BAY.
OPENING OF TENDERS
Where : The foyer of the Council Chambers, Municipal Offices, Da Gama Road 33, JEFFREYS BAY
When : Friday, 28 MAY 2010, soon after 12h00
The only or lowest ender will not necessarily be accepted and the Municipality reserves the right to accept the whole or any portion of a tender that will suit its needs in terms of IDP imperatives.
The Municipality encourages the use of joint ventures and equity ownership to promote and accelerate the participation of historically disadvantaged persons in the supply of goods and services to the Kouga Municipality.
An original and valid Tax Clearance Certificate must accompany the tender.
Tenderers must submit a valid BEE certicate or cantact BEEBIZ at 0415813031to arrange for one.
The tender will be valid for a period of three months from the date of opening of tenders.
Tenders may safely assume to have lost the tender if they have not been contacted prior to expiry of this period.
