2 X SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER

REQUIREMENTS:                                   

• National Diploma: Environmental Health;
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA);
• Valid Code EB Driver’s License;
• Computer literacy;

• Good inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills;

• 5 years working experience as a Environmental Health Practitioner;
• Must be able to speak two (2) of the three (3) official languages in Kouga (Afrikaans, English and Xhosa).

SALARY:                                                           R272 520.00 – R353 748.00

DUITIES:

• Execution of Municipal Health Services as defined in the National     Health Act, 61/2003 and relevant Environmental Health and Safety Acts.
• Providing Health education and public awareness to the community concerning environmental health nuisances.
• General administration duties.
• Handling all health and safety queries and complaints from the public.
• Plan, monitor and coordinates the application of procedures and sequences associated with Environmental Health:
• Compile and submit reports on Municipal Health Services inspections.
• Perform any other related ad hoc duties as required by management, from time to time.
