APPOINTMENT OF TEMPORARY SEASONAL STAFF

The Kouga Municipality is committed to employment practices that redress past imbalances in respect of race, gender, creed and disability.

Temporary seasonal staff is required for the following vacancies:

24X SURF LIFEGUARDS - OTHER BEACHES IN THE KOUGA MUNICIPAL AREA

• Lifesaving experience is essential.
• A valid Surf Proficiency Award Qualification is required - (to be attached to application form).
• Must be willing to undergo an interview process.
• Must be physically fit - (subject to fitness evaluation).

• First Aid qualification (Level 1 – 3 and/or Level 5).
• 42 day seasonal contract from 5 December 2011 to 15 January 2012.

LOCATION OF OTHER BEACHES

Pellsrus Beach, Aston bay Beach, Paradise Beach, Kabeljouws Beach, St Francis Main Beach, St Francis Hobie Beach, Cape St Francis Main Beach, Oyster Bay Beach.

Sealed applications on the prescribed application form, together  with certified copies of your Identity document and relevant qualifications must be submitted to the Human Resources Department, 33 Da Gama Road, Jeffreys Bay, on or before Friday 4 November 2011 at 12:00.

Applicants not contacted within twenty one (21) working days must regard the applications as being unsuccessful.

Canvassing of Councillors will lead to disqualification of applicants.

The Municipality reserves the right not to make an appointment.
