VACANCY

DIRECTORATE FINANCE: ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT: ASSET AND FLEET
REQUIREMENTS:
B Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification; 1 Years’ experience in a municipal accounting environment or 2 years in the private sector accounting environment. (Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a municipal financial environment);
Valid Driver’s license;
Demonstrable proficiency in Excel;
Must be able to speak two of the official languages in Kouga (Afrikaans, English, and Xhosa).
SALARY: R182 136.00 per year.
DUTIES:
Assist with coordinating and controlling the application of accounting procedures by attending to the preparation of verification, reporting, processing and reconciliation of fleet and asset related transactions to support analysis, identification and correction of compliance related matters, and attending to specific administrative process associated with the functioning and compliance of the Fleet and Asset Section.
