ICT SENIOR END USER SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
REQUIREMENTS:
A+ and N+ certificate or equivalent (NQF 5);
2 Years’ experience in a municipal ICT environment or 3 years in the private sector ICT environment;
2 years’ experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems;
Valid Driver’s license;
Proficient in at least two of the official languages (Afrikaans, English, and Xhosa).
SALARY: R230 844.00 – R299 640.00
DUTIES:
Coordinates tasks/ activities associated with the provision of End User support and analyses, attend to all user callouts, support network infrastructure, install and configure new equipment, repair and upgrade faulty equipment , diagnose and resolves software/ hardware related problems; provide field support to the clients ( Employees and Councilors) linked to the institution wide network by ensuring that their computers, laptops and other electronic devices are adequately connected to the network, ensure optimum and uninterrupted functionality of operating systems and applications within the municipality
