VACANCY

MANAGER COMMUNITY AMENITIES AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH

REQUIREMENTS:                                   

B Degree or Equivalent qualification in Environmental Health or relevant NQF qualification;

Minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience in Community Services including three (3) years in a managerial position;

Registration with a relevant Professional Body will be an added advantage;

Code EB driver’s license.

SALARY:                                               R569 778.63 – R722 625.86 (TCTC excluding Perk Scheme Car Allowance).    

DUTIES:                                                

Manage and control the key performance areas and result indicators associated with the development and maintenance of Community Amenities and Environmental Health:

• Planning Management
• Productivity and Performance Management
• Financial Control
• Contract Management
• Operational Management
• Relationship Management and Communication

Manage and oversee the operations at the Community Halls, Caravan Parks, Sport Field, Cemeteries, ablution facilities and management of public open spaces and bush clearing;

Manage and oversee the coordination of all awareness and educational projects;

Responsible for all Cleansing related projects;

Implement plans, legislation, policies, programmes and work procedures to meet targets associated with the provision of Environmental Health;

Initiate awareness and educational programs to establish:

• Successful coordination
• Dissemination of information
• Monitor, sample, and institute investigation processes
• Identify threats associated with environmental health;

Prevent pollution and ecological degradation and promote conservation to secure ecologically sustainable natural resources;
