Manager: Financial Accounting And Budgeting
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12
- A tertiary qualification with Accounting and Auditing as a major
- Good Communication & Managerial skills
- Minimum 4 year experience in municipal finance in a senior position( related field)
- Computer literate (Excel & Word)
- Fluent in at least two of the three languages of Kouga (English, Afrikaans and Xhosa)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Co-ordinates and controls the application of Accounting procedures within the Department
- Administration of all budgeting processes, including compilation
- Extensive reporting and provision of management information
- Development of internal controls and risk management
- Compilation of Annual Financial Statements and related functions
- Staff supervision
- Any related ad hoc duties
POST LEVEL: 1
SALARY: Basic R243 300: Negotiable
