Kouga Municipality, an equal opportunity employer, which subscribes to the principles of affirmative action, awaits applications for a 1 year contractual appointment in the following position:
DIRECTORATE FINANCE: PROJECT MANAGER : MSCOA IMPLEMENTATION
REQUIREMENTS:
B-Com Degree with majors in Accounting;
Extensive Knowledge of mSCOA segments and budgeting;
More than 10 years’ experience in Municipal Finances;
Proven experience in SAMRAS shall be an added advantage;
Valid driver’s license;
Must provide a vehicle for the execution of duties.
Must be able to speak two of the official languages in Kouga (Afrikaans, English, and Xhosa).
SALARY: (TOTAL COST TO COMPANY) R590 221 – R650 000.
CONTRACT DURATION: 1 September 2017 to 31 August 2018
DUTIES:
Develop and manage the implementation of the Municipal Standard Chart of Accounts Project inclusive of legal compliance, corrective actions and capturing and reporting on project performance and other related project information;
