VACANCY:

DIRECTORATE FINANCE: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT: ASSET AND FLEET
REQUIREMENTS:
B Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification;
3 Years’ experience in a municipal accounting environment or 5 years in the private sector accounting environment. (Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a municipal financial environment);
Valid Driver’s license;
Demonstrable proficiency in Excel;
Must be able to speak two of the official languages in Kouga (Afrikaans, English, and Xhosa).
SALARY: R253 836.00 per year.
DUTIES: Coordinates and controls the application of accounting procedures by attending to the verification, reporting, processing and reconciliation of fleet and asset related transactions to support analysis, identification and correction of compliance related matters, guiding and developing personnel on the processing sequences and attending to specific administrative process associated with the functioning and compliance of the Fleet and Asset Section.
