 DIRECTORATE COMMUNITY SERVICES: SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY OFFICER

REQUIREMENTS:                  

Grade 12;

Safety Management Training Certificate (SAMTRAC)(NQF Level 5)

Computer Literate;

Code 08 driver’s license;

3 Years’ experience;

Must be able to speak two of the official Languages in Kouga (Afrikaans, English, and Xhosa)                                        

SALARY:                                               R253 836.00 – R329 496.00

PURPOSE:                   

Coordinates task/activities pertaining to implementation, monitoring and reporting of outcomes associated with Occupational Health & Safety Management through the coordination and implementation of operations associated with the enforcement of policies, procedures and practices dictating health and safety in the Municipality, and execution of investigations of accidents/incidents to ensure a safe workplace environment.
