TEMPORAR Y EMPLOYMENT : EXPANDED PUBLIC WORKS PROGR AMME

The Kouga Municipality. an equal opportunity employer. which subscribes to the principles of affirmative action, awaits applications for enlistment of candidates for the above mentioned programme for the period 1 July 20 16 to 30 June 2017 from which Kouga Municipality shall select candidates for appointment to the EPWP projects in accordance with its internal selection criteria:

1. EXPANDED PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMME WORKER;_( 1 1 months fixed term contract)

REQUIREMENTS:                         Grade 8 certificate;

Must be a bona-fide resident of Kouga;

Must be physically fit for reason that the work may require physical manual labour;

Must be contactable by means of a fixed telephone number;

The person may be required to work irregular hours

and may be required to perform after hour work;

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS: CV

Certified copy of ID

Proof of qualifications (Please attach certified copies of qualifications)

Proof of Residence (Water Bill and Letter from Ward councilor)

SALAR Y:                                   R 78, 86 per day

Candidates must take note that appointments shall be of a temporary nature and that the Ministerial Determination for Expanded Public Works Programmes will apply.

Sealed applications on the prescribed Kouga Application for Employment Form clearly marked "EPWP" must reach the Human Resources Manager on or before Thursday, 21 July 2016 at 12:00.

Please note that the following will lead to disqualification of applicants:

1 . Non submission of originally certified copies of academic records and Identity document.

2. Canvassing of councilors or officials.
