ERRATUM ON NOTICE NUMBER:  33/2013 : PROMULGATION OF LIQUOR TRADING HOURS BYLAW  - KOUGA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY  - PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PROCESS

Notice is hereby given in terms of sections 12(3)(b) and 15(1) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000 that the Kouga Municipality has to consider and  approve the promulgation of the Liquor  Trading Hours Bylaw.

This Bylaw is available for inspection during normal working hours (Mondays – Thursdays 07:30 -16:15 and Fridays from 07:30 – 15:00) at the undermentioned municipal offices and also at libraries in the mentioned towns:

Jeffreys Bay Unit      -           33 Da Gama Road, Jeffreys Bay

Humansdorp Unit     -           Main Street, Humansdorp

St Francis Bay Unit   -           Assisi Drive, St Francis Bay

Hankey Unit              -           Main Street, Hankey

Patensie Unit                        -           Ted Ferreira Street, Patensie

The documents may also be viewed on the Kouga Municipality’s website at www.kouga.gov.za.   Any comments or objections in respect of the By-Law must be submitted in writing to the Municipal Manager, 33 Da Gama Road, Jeffreys Bay, before 26 April 2013 at 12:00.  Any person, who cannot read or write or is disabled, may approach any one of the Kouga Municipality’s Unit Offices during office hours (Mondays – Thursdays 07:30 -16:15 and Fridays from 07:30 – 15:00) for assistance with the writing of their comment/input/proposal.

Individuals, organizations or stakeholders that wish to make verbal presentations can do so at the venues where the by-law is going to be presented.
