VACANCY

            TRUCK DRIVER: SUCTION TANKER

REQUIREMENTS:

• An appropriate secondary school certificate at NQF level 3;
  • At least two (2) years relevant experience;
  • Code EC driving license with PrDP;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability to work with teams;
  • Good Supervisory Skills;
  • The physical nature of the job necessitates that the incumbent be physically fit and able bodied;
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in at least two of the official languages in Kouga Municipality (Afrikaans, English, and Xhosa).

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

• Required to work in all weather conditions.
• Required to work outside normal working hours during emergencies and planned overtime.

SALARY:                                                          R180 123.38 – R233 792.17 Per Annum

TASK:                                                               7

DUTIES:

• Performs specific tasks/activities at the Depot/Sewer Plant or work sites to and on completion of allocated assignments;
• Inspecting safety devices, controls, lubricant levels, tyres, etc. on equipment, vehicles and reports defects to the immediate supervisor;
• Completes internal transactional documentation;
• Performs and controls tasks/activities associated with controlling personnel performance, productivity and discipline;
• Communicating with the immediate subordinates with regards to work instructions and priorities.
